Voting Day: Sandusky Makes National Headlines

Have you read the news? Sandusky is making headlines, as we move away from having Columbus Day off to having Voting Day off from work for some organizations.

And why is this making news? Do we make time to vote, do we vote? It's something to consider. Although Christopher Columbus made the history books, the relevance to this historical moment, seems more irrelevant to our population.

If you haven't registered to vote, consider the value of having an opinion and a voice in your community or country.

Being part of a change, or being able to vote was something that was fought for, and denied. Take your opportunity to be counted. Regardless of the outcome of a vote, your vote can count and sometimes be the change you were looking for.

We're thrilled to live in a community that is part of a change. We're part of city that is getting noticed nationally for going above and beyond and not just going with the status quo.

When your community changes, sometimes you need to change with it.

If you're looking for the full story. Check out the New York Times link below.  Teach your kids the value of voting, and why we vote. It doesn't take a lot of time and it doesn't have to interrupt your day.  Read about your candidates, read about the issues. Make a difference and vote. We all can make a change by voting. We can all be heard by voting. One vote at a time, can be the difference. Don't forget to vote!
