Military Appreciation Month! Hats off to Dr. Alexis Klassen, Navy Reservist

May is Military Appreciation Month. Take a moment to thank all those who serve in the armed services. We are grateful to have Dr. Alexis Klassen as part of our team. Dr. Klassen has served with the US Navy Reserves for many years.

She's committed to serving her country, her community and her patients!

She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Upon completion of dental school, she spent the following year studying and gaining experience in the fields of general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and acute care during a credentialing tour with the United States Navy.

She's always had a strong desire to live a life of service to others and thus decided to join the United States Navy as a dental officer upon the completion of her schooling. While in the Navy, she lived in Rhode Island, South Carolina, Mississippi, Illinois and Okinawa, Japan.

Upon the resignation of her active-duty position, she started her service in the Navy Reserves and moved to Ohio with her husband and two sons, to be closer to family and friends. They are frequent visitors to the local Ohio parks; and love bike rides, basketball games, bonfires, and trips to their Northern Michigan cabin where cell phones and the Internet still do not exist!

Please help us thank Dr. Klassen for her military service!
