Giving back to Smiles for Life and Junior Achievement; $5200

Stefano Dental of Sandusky, Ohio raised $5200 as part of the Smiles for Life Campaign by offering teeth whitening for half price, including donation of time and materials.  One hundred percent of the proceeds went to charity, including $2600 to to Junior Achievement in Sandusky. The rest went to Smiles for Life.

The Smiles for Life Foundation distributes donations to worthy and approved children’s charities across the U.S., Canada and worldwide. Participating children’s charities include Children’s Miracle Network, Children of Romania, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, CURE (in Cambodia), Smiles for Hope, and the Kids Cancer Care Foundation.

Since 1998, Smiles for Life has raised over $36 million, benefiting hundreds of children’s charities. Fifty percent of the donations are earmarked for each dental practice’s local charity partner, and the balance goes to the Smiles For Life Foundation to be distributed to worthy and approved children’s charities across the U.S., Canada and worldwide. Participating children’s charities include Children’s Miracle Network, Children of Romania, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, CURE (in Cambodia), Smiles For Hope, and the Kids Cancer Care Foundation.

We are thrilled that our whitening services were so popular this year, and that we were able to give back $5200 from the generosity of our patients. Their fees went directly to Smiles for Life.
