Meet Dr. Sharp
Patricia Sharp, DDS
As a dentist, my highest priority is to provide exceptional care to each of my patients. I love being able to interact with my patients while building trusting and lasting relationships with them, as this allows me to best meet their dental needs and desires. At the end of the day, I am excited about making positive and life-changing differences in the lives of each person whom I treat – and this is what makes dentistry such a rewarding and challenging profession.
Education and Continuing Education
For my undergraduate education, I attended Trinity University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language. I then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
At our practice, we know how important continuing education is for our patients, and we also know that creating the most positive patient experiences are just as important as providing the most effective and efficient treatments. For this reason, we participate in extensive annual non-dental related courses at PRIDE to improve how we interact with our patients. Personally, I have taken many advanced courses on atraumatic tooth removal, and this allows for patients to have a more comfortable experience. Staying on the cutting-edge of my field greatly benefits my patients, and I am committed to doing what I can to keep up with all of the advances within my field.

Outside of the Office
I grew up in Houston, Texas, and I have enjoyed living in Huron, Ohio, for a number of years now. I find Midwesterners to be such a grounded, great group of people, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help them achieve incredible dental health!
I am happily married to my highschool sweetheart, and we have two young children. We also have two yappy Pomeranian puppies that constantly keep us on our toes. At home, you’ll often find me chasing my giggling toddler around and around the couch, reading, and traveling.
I am also happy to be giving back to my community through my active membership in ZONTA – a women’s group that not only elevates the status of women worldwide, but it also supports many local charities, such as the Make a Smile Program, Care and Share, and Safe Harbor.
