We like to give a big shout out to our Dr. Klassen! A long-time military reservist, serving in the US Navy.
Dr. K is an important part of our Dr. Stefano staff. Her critical thinking, superior clinical care and passionate patient care are what makes her an excellent part of our team.
When Dr. K isn't making beautiful smiles, she's spending time with her husband and two sons. She received her doctorate of dental surgery from Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Upon completion of dental school, she spent the following year studying and gaining experience in the fields of general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and acute care during a credentialing tour with the United States Navy.
She was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and lived in nearby Brighton and attended Bowling Green State University to earn her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. She has always had a strong desire to live a life of service to others and thus decided to join the United States Navy as a dental officer upon the completion of schooling. While in the Navy, she lived in Rhode Island, South Carolina, Mississippi, Illinois, and Okinawa, Japan.
Upon the resignation of her active-duty position, she moved with her husband and two sons to Woodville, Ohio, to be close to her family and friends. As a family, they are frequent visitors to the parks in the area, and love bike rides, basketball games, bonfires, and trips to their cabin in Northern Michigan where cell phones and the Internet still do not exist.
