Thank you to all the veterans who came out to join us for Make a Vet Smile Day. Our staff was outstanding, as we treated patients from 7 AM to 2 PM non-stop.
We were able treat more than 40 patients. Whether it was crowns, dental screenings, cavities or repairing broken teeth, we hope we made a difference in a veteran's smiles.
Why is this our annual commitment? Maybe it's the responses we get. When one veteran commented to us that it's the first time he's been able to smile without being embarrassed, that made all the difference to us.
We're so honored that we're able to help so many veterans improve their smile. So many veterans sacrifice so much daily, even after they come home from their service.
We will continue to close down our office every Veteran's Day to service 'just veterans', and we're thrilled to have a staff that is equally committed to giving back.
If you have a chance to thank a veteran over the holiday season, do so. Many veterans skip holidays and special events in their families' lives, because they can't make it home.
Military don't get the holidays off every year, so make sure to think of them when you're trimming your tree and sitting around the holiday dinner table.
We're grateful to have the ability and resources to provide our local veterans a chance to have a healthy smile. And so excited to have had our local NBC 24 Toledo join us this year to get a peak at our veterans day operation!
